**ANNOUNCEMENT**


It's been a while since I've posted but rest assured I have been busy! In fact, alongside Mary Ann Kennedy/ Màiri Anna NicUalraig - Pro Pages, Robbie Anndra MacLeòid - Bàrd, and Nick Turner of Watercolour Music, I am leading an online course in Gaelic songwriting. The course will be delivered in Gaelic, and is open to all skill levels. This is being run with support from Fèisean nan Gàidheal. Please share this post with anyone who might be interested!

Great evening event at the Parliament last night run by the Scotland's Futures Forum for the screening of 'Our Future Scotland', the film I scored. There was a lively discussion afterwards with the panel which included actor Brian Cox, sci-fi author Chris Brookmyre, SNP MSP Clare Adamson, and Edinburgh University Robotics Professor Sethu Vijayakumar, chaired by the Presiding Officer Ken Macintosh.

'Our Future Scotland' is being screened at the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday, and should hopefully be available online soon! James has scored the film.


'The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Brian Cox, writer Christopher Brookmyre, robotics expert and Robot Wars judge Prof Sethu Vijayakumar, and Clare Adamson MSP and chaired by the Presiding Officer, Ken Macintosh MSP.

Also joining the discussion will be writer and artist David Baillie, chief executive of Scottish Renewables Claire Mack, V&A Dundee director Philip Long, human rights lawyer Debora Kayambe and Futures Forum directors Sir Andrew Cubie and Louise Macdonald, the chief executive of Young Scot.'
